About the Instructor
Beginning his teaching career as an eighth grade math and science teacher in Greenwood Arkansas, Mr. Perdue has taught in public education for 30 years. He taught high school math and biology at Charles Page High School and later spent 10 years in Verdigris as the Middle School principal. Following that, he moved back to his hometown of Sand Springs serving as a teacher and principal at Rader. He served at Angus Elementary as principal until moving to the gifted education program of Sand Springs Schools. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Tulsa Community College teaching math and speech classes.
Mr. Perdue is a proud veteran, serving his country as an officer in the Air Force and Air National Guard before retiring from the military in 2006. He has also served children as a children's pastor for a local congregation until retiring in 2013.
Mr. Perdue has a bachelors degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Masters Degree from Oral Roberts University, with additional graduate work in humanities, communication, and mathematics from Tiffin University and Portland State University. He has an associates degree in Spanish from Tulsa Community College and an associates in personnel management from Community College of the Air Force.
Mr. Perdue is married to Donna Robinson Perdue of Sand Springs and together they have four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, and curriculum design.
